Transfer Station

The Town Transfer Station is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, closed for lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm Monday thru Friday. It is located on Home Road at the East end of Town. Please purchase a pass at the town office prior to going to the transfer station. A pass for single time use is $20.00, plus GST.

Burn Pit

The Town Burn Pit is accessible to residents during business hours by calling 956-3884 or 956-1702 to set up a time to drop off burnables.

The Burn Pit Accepts

  • Grass and Weeds
  • Leaves and Tree Pruning
  • Small amounts of Brush and fallen trees
  • Wooden materials, which do not contain wood preservative, clay, muskeg or topsoil

THE TOWN DOES NOT ACCEPT INDUSTRIAL OR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

However the Town does provide residents with the opportunity to rid their homes of hazardous materials every second year. The next hazard waste day is to be determined at a later date.
