Rainbow Lake has different activities for each season. During the winter you can use our Cross-Country Ski Trails, and Snowmobile Trails. Summer times are full of endless activities using our Ball Diamond, Tennis courts, Basketball courts, playgrounds, camping and golf course. Camping and Fishing can be found only 45 Kilometers southwest of town where visitors can also enjoy water skiing and leisurely boating with beautiful scenery. There is plenty of opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife!
The campground has a day use area plus 16 overnight camping stalls. It is operated by the Rainbow Lake Campground Association and is user maintained, so please keep your campsite garbage free and control your fires! For a daytime picnic and a chance for the little ones to fish, check out the trout pond only 2 km east of town!
The Golf Course is more than just a place for golfers. The clubhouse is open to the public to come and sit down and relax with friends. The clubhouse offers drinks and a small selection of food items. The 9-hole course is always well maintained and open to the public; making it a comfortable place for any occasion. It is situated on municipal land but is operated by a volunteer executive.
